Daniel Boone Married in 1790 to Margaret Fall, who later died in OH. They moved to KY ca 1803, while there they had a son Lewis Boone b. 1803 KY, d. Feb. 6, 1882, McHenry County, IL. In 1803 they left KY and went to Preble County, OH and settled. Daniel and Margaret Fall Boone had 9 children. Daniel Boone went to Buchannan County, Iowa with 2 of his sons, John and George Boone, where he died in 1856. Boone was also in Boone County, IN where some of his sons stayed and married and raised their families. Boone County, IN was named for these Boones. There are Boones today in Boone County, IN and surrounding areas from these Boones.
According to information from George C Garrison, Daniel Boone was a Captain in the Preble County, Ohio militia in 1812.

When Martin was killed, Daniel and his brother John Boone, "being of proper age came into court and made choice of Jacob Allbright for their guardian". This was done in May 1780.

"Some of the early settlers were....Daniel Boone, from Kentucky, and a relative of the noted pioneer and settled on section eleven."
Daniel married Margaret Fall, daughter of Christian Fall and Juliana Finn, about 1790. (Margaret Fall was born about 1775 in Guilford County, NC and died on 11 Jun 1838 in Preble County, OH.)
