Isaac Hensley Pickett b. in Hickman Co., TN Sept. 2, 1823 was s. of James H. Pickett and Mary Hassell. The family came to Jefferson Co. about 1828. Isaac married (1) Juliet Huston, b. abt. 1825 in 1844. They had two ch: Mahala J. 1845 and James K.P. Oct. 2, 1846. Juliet died about 1848, and Isaac married (2) Sophronia Lawrence Killebrew, d. of Joshua Killebrew and Sarah Lynch both b. Smith Co., TN. They came to Jefferson County about 1838. Isaac and Sophronia had five ch: Lewis N. b. in Franklin Co, IL July 19, 1852; Mahulda Florence 1857; America Isadora, Feb. 1, 1859; Joshua Sampson May 19, 1861; and Sarah 1864. Isaac died in Franklin Co, 2 mi. N. of Ewing, IL Aug 15, 1865. He was buried in Moore's Prairie Twp, Jefferson County in a farm field about 3 mi. E. of Ina. Sophia died Sept. 30, 1896 and is buried at Williams Cemetery NW of Ewing, along with two or three of her ch. Lewis married Mary Page in Franklin Co. Sept. 27, 1876, moved to Edwards Co., IL about 1896!
and died there Mar. 20, 1911.

Isaac married Juliet G Houston, daughter of Unknown Houston and Unknown, on 30 Jul 1843 in Jefferson County, Illinois. (Juliet G Houston was born about 1822 and died about 1848 in Jefferson County, Illinois.)

Isaac next married Sophia Lawrence Kellabrew, daughter of Joshua Kellabrew and Sarah Lynch, on 6 Feb 1849 in Jefferson County, Illinois. (Sophia Lawrence Kellabrew was born in 1834 in TN, died on 30 Sep 1896 in Franklin County, IL and was buried in Williams Cemetery.)
