I have a SLEDGE family from Jefferson Co. in my extended family. James Hardy SLEDGE (b. 14 Sep 1873) married Evalena CHILTON (b. Apr 1875) on 26 Aug 1899. They had at least the following two children: Gale (b. abt 1903) and Grace Gladys (b. abt 1908). Gale married Lillian (b. abt 1905).
