THANK YOU!! The pages you sent arrived just fine. I saved them on my hard drive and will be printing them out soon. My kids will be happy to have copies of them, I'm sure. I actually have a copy of the picture of the family at the farm for Christmas. I love Mae in that picture. She looks like someone I would have really enjoyed knowing. How do I fit into the family? My grandmother was Minnie Emily Vaughn, your grandfather's sister. My dad is Glenn Edward Rough, the baby sitting on Great-Grandma Sledge Vaughn's lap in the Christmas picture. What fun!! So, if our grandparents were brother and sister, what does that make us? -- cousins twice removed or what; I'm not sure how that works. Can you imagine how many of us are out there though? I've got about 27 first cousins on my dad's side alone. They would have the same relationship. I don't know how many children and grandchildren the other brother and sisters had.
Well, I need to go through what you have sent me. Then I will write back with anything I have to add to your site. There may not be a lot, but I will share what I have. One thing I know is that Minnie's husband is Walter Edward Rough. They did call him Ed though.
Oh, you told me where you are from. We live in Salem, MO which is about 30 miles or so southeast of Rolla, MO.
