General Notes:
William Self was found in the Florida Parish, Louisiana in 1810, according to state papers (Vol 3, Page 65, claim west of Pearl River, abstract of actual settlers). William Self claimant by settlement in 1810 of Section 49, of 637 acres (Located west of the River Tangaphoa in the St. Helena Parish, LA.).

James Smith 1793). William was living in Prince Edward County, VA., in 1779 when he bought land in Bedford County in an area that became Campbell County by 1782. Sold land in Campbell County in 1786. In Cumberland County by 1782 (tax list). His son Thomas is said to have migrated to Green County, KY. There was supposedly a copy included with Frances Ann's original request for a Revolutionary Pension.
