This book was written by Missouri Elsie Thomas on the Dinwiddie family that settled in Morgan County, Mo. near Florance Mo. in the early 1800's. She finished the book in December of 1965 and handed it out to family members at the family reunion in 1966 in Sedalia, Missouri at Liberty Park.
She was inspired to write this book by Luthera Catherine Dinwiddie who was know as "Aunt Kate". Aunt Kate was the first author of this Dinwiddie Book and she passed away on 6-22-1922. She was the daughter of Rev Benjamin Franklin Dinwiddie.
