This book was written by Jesse H. Boone on the Vaughn, Boone, Eller, and Sledge families that settled in Jefferson County, IL near Mt. Vernon, IL in the early 1800's. He finished the book in 1970.
He was inspired to write this book to leave some of the family history so it would be lost in time.
