Her death:
Three days before her death her husband told her not to go to work for a Charlie Finley. She was to do their washing. She hung the clothes outside and became ill. It was very cold that day and she was to do washing. She did it anyways and the next day she came down with what they thought was the flu. It ended up going into pneumonia. Because of the flu epedenpic they had her services outside the Bethlehem Bapitist Church in Florence, MO.
