Elvia Smith also said in the book Dorothy as a child was always dressed in frilly clothes and sat upon a piano bench and kept there for long periods of time so she would not mess her clothes. This is the way other family member remember her.
Dorothy married Edward Davis. The marriage ended in divorce in 1970.
