Parthena Huntress
Parthena Hall Huntress 92, formerly of 1323 South Prospect, died Sunday morning, Jan 10, 1993, at Rest Haven Convalescent Home.
She was born aug. 27, 1900 in Morgan County, Mo., daughter of James R. and Elizabeth Dinwiddie Thomas. On Sept 6, 1947, in Sedalia Mo., she married Beynon Huntress, who died July 6, 1985.
Mrs. Huntress was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Morgan County. She was a machine operator for Town and Country Shoes, retiring in 1947. She was a lifelong resident of the Sedalia area.
Survivors include two daughters Iva Wadleigh, Sedalia, Mo., Elisie Yeager, Independence MO; three sons, Winfred Hall and Alfred Hall, both of Gravois Mills; Pearly Hall , Clinton Mo.; 10 grand-children, 16 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Heckart-Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Greg Hibbard officiating.
Pallbears will be Kelly Campbell, Ronnie Hall, Joseph Reno, Danny Yeager, Clifford Yeager, Michael Wadleigh.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery.
Friends may call untill 8 tonight at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions to the church.
