James Dinwiddie witness Elijah Hook will.

The State of Missouri Cooper Co. January the fifth day in the year of our Lord one thousand eighteen hundred and thirty three, the last will and testament of Elijah Hook after first commending my sole to the protection of the all wise God, I want Absolom Miller, my brother in law to be my executor of my estate.
I want my estate sold and equally divided between my son John Hook, Jefferson (unreadable - Carroll?) and Joseph (unreadable - Carroll?) after my sun John Hook taking his chois of horse or mare of my stock.

State of Mo, Pettis County - Be it remembered that upon the 16th day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty three before Amos Fristoe clerk protem post of the County Court of Pettis County aforesaid came George Cathay, Hugh Morrison, and Reuben Harris, three subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last will and testament of Elijah Hooks deceased and made oath that the said testator signed and published the same as his last will and testament and that he was of sound and disposing mind at the time of so doing, that they subscribed the names thereunto in the presence of each other. Given under my hand and seal of office at office this 16th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three. A Fristoe, Clerk Protem
