Death cert says Ludona, TX, but there is no such place in Hunt CO, TX.
However, Ladonia, TX sits just north of the Hunt County line in Fannin CO, TX.
The now extinct Twp of Timber Creek, where J. C. Chism and family were shown in the 1870 Census, was located in Hunt CO, TX, just below Fannin CO, and Ladonia, TX, and has to be wrong, as Ludonia is located in Fannin CO, TX, just across the county line from Hunt CO.
